Do you believe many people use God and religion as an excuse to not take responsibility for their own lives?

I think this is one of the primary reasons religions form. To allow “THEM” to not face some serious issues, and to allow them to have an “EXCUSE” for anything that goes wrong.

This trait can really hold people back from progressing. Keep that in mind ok??

Whatever the excuse, selfish people do NOT want to take responsibility for their own failures.

It’s a strange paradox.

The world revolves around them but yet they cannot be the cause of their own failures. Hmmm who’s the one to blame? God?? because it’s according to his will? such a loser.

Some people do in fact hide behind God. Those that do not know better, will learn, but might be protected for a season.

Others are hidden in the secret place of God having taken responsibility for their own actions.

“Having a form of godliness but denying the power of it.”

externalize responsibility somehow and do not 100% depend on “its God’s Will”

You know what hurts the most ?

Reminiscing how we were from the beginning, how it all changed and how we got to this point. Isn’t it funny how we were two people that were so sprung for each other, we were full of many smiles, laughs and butterflies. Then all of a sudden everything changed, and we reached this point where we can’t even last a day without fighting and arguing, we can’t even have a decent phone call without one of us hanging up. So one question, when did our smiles, laughs and butterflies turn into fights, arguments and hatred for one another?
