beben-eleben: I am SO tired of this OLD worn out cliche: dark is ugly/sad/bad and white is pretty/happy/good. This sends a very wrong message to young impressionable kids. It fuels the money hungry whitening lotion and pills industry. I expect better from educated writers, producers and network owners (via Robert Alejandro).

Do you believe many people use God and religion as an excuse to not take responsibility for their own lives?

I think this  is one of the primary reasons religions form. To allow “THEM” to not face some serious issues, and to allow them to have an “EXCUSE” for anything that goes wrong.

This trait can really hold people back from progressing. Keep that in mind ok??

Whatever the excuse, selfish people do NOT want to take responsibility for their own failures.

It’s a strange paradox.

The world revolves around them but yet they cannot be the cause of their own failures. Hmmm who’s the one to blame? God?? because it’s according to his will? such a loser.

Some people do in fact hide behind God. Those that do not know better, will learn, but might be protected for a season.

Others are hidden in the secret place of God having taken responsibility for their own actions.

“Having a form of godliness but denying the power of it.”

externalize responsibility somehow and do not 100% depend on “its God’s Will”
